joking,i am baffled by the different reviews of pellets, i am thinking it isn't the pellets, its the stove they are being burned in. don't really know as I am new to this. I bought 10 bags of New England the other day, then started reading all the bad reviews after I came home. to be honest, i think they burned better than Barefoots in my stove, glass has stayed cleaner longer, cleaned today, thought there was less ash. Again, I am new so these are my observations to be taken with a grain of pellet....I was reading in here, http://www.woodpelletreviews.com and found such a diversity of reviews of the same pellet. I can understand the year to year changes and reviews. Can some one explain all this to me?

Year to year there is a change, but stove to stove there is also.... Add in installation to installation.

Burn what you like and your stove likes. That's it..

Try everything and whatever works best for you.

And you all forgot to add that several makers have multiple plants and they have quality issues because of that, so you have to be very specific about where the pellets came from.

is it stamped on the bag somewhere? it gives 3 locations of where they have facilities.

At the same time, if you come back here and report that Green Supreme burns as good as Somersets, you will be met with furious anger from the hivemind, as you are a heretic.

I have been called worse I guess, so if I had a HarmOn, it wouldn't matter, cuz they are smart, so they should burn everything the same :) so I have come to learn here!

If you can post a picture of the bag for what you have likely someone can tell which plant.

An other thing you need to be aware of is that some makers make, hardwood, softwood, and blend pellets. Even make them on the same equipment and if they don't get things reset correctly they can produce a bad run or two.

Then you have sellers that don't always advertise things correctly.

I always have trouble with the framistan on my stove but the muffler bearings never cause trouble.

sheeet ,... I been rollin it hard lately ,...... W/OUT my muffler bearing,... taking to the edge!!!!

Make sure you soak that muffler bearing in a bucket of steam after ever ton.

Maybe so, but hauling ash all the time can be a royal pain in the as* . I did that one winter with a particular brand of pellet and then waited for a couple of manufacturing changes to be made before buying any more of them.

Don't forget that the muffler bearing needs regular checking, cleaning , and lubrication.

Yeah, and I have a large supply of muffler bearings to sell ya ==c
