Too lazy to walk out into the cold to throw a chicken carcass (after dinner) away in the garbage can, it went on a bed of hot coals in the woodstove. That did NOT smell like when you walk into KFC. I bet pizza crusts would be OK, though.

I am shocked at the lack of inventive items here. A guy I know Has got an oil tank hooked up to drip used oil into his wood stove in his shop and routinely burns used tires and all his garbage in his (don't write me i know its wrong) I don't have a stove hooked up yet but i thought buring paper was nomal in these things after all how do you start a fire in the first place??? can someone explain?

Especially in this post ;)

Yeeeeesh

I think most people with strange things to burn live far enough out of the city they have a burn pile or barrel for the nasty stuff. We have free garbage pickup so not too much bad stuff gets burnt. Did burn a few couches and chairs on New Years eve a few years back.

Well, I can't claim any creative burning, but I did read on a pellet stove forum that a guy over there burns cat turds in his pellet stove.
