Need help identifying a stove.

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me anything about the stove in this picture. It is in a home I am trying to buy and I cannot find any similar pictures on the net? Any info is welcome.

I dunno what it is either, but I am a bit concerned with the installation, looks pretty close to the walls and there is not enough protection in front of the stove (assuming the tile has appropriate r rated material under it)

the stove should have a data plate on it showing the UL or equivalent listing, if this tag is not present the unit has to be installed by NFPA standards for "unlisted" stoves which are quite draconian, but intended to protect the homeowner.

not trying to beat on anyone, just making mention for the OP's sake
 
^ Agreed, sadly the tile on the wall is little protection. But it does look as though the shielded the black pipe as it goes past the door header.
 
Looks like it may be a coal stove. Is there a grate system on the bottom inside?

There is a stamp on the front that says "Colonial". It resembles a coal stove on ebay at the moment. There is a grating system in the door. This is a flip house, so i'm guessing they wanted to "put" something in the space? From previous listing photos there was a small pot belly stove. If it is coal, is there a market for such? or is it worth it's weight in metal?
