Any opinions? I've never tried either. No FSU's or Stove Chow around, so I gotta make a switch. Thanks

These are the Heartland's I use exclusively ... same bag or ?

What pricing do you have for the Heartlands in your area? They're $5.99/bag for the pallet; $6.49 single bag.

i got a free ton when i bought a used stove it was way out western mass. they dont sell them in SE Mass and ya they are pricey
but a hot pellet

$3.95 per bag in N. Colorado and a pallet has 60 bags.
Just got my Whitfield going today so we will see how they are.

i think OP might be referring to Hearthside pellets and not Hearthland.i have tried both and the hearthland are smokin hot.they have them in middleboro ma

The AWF premium pellets were hot. They did have a lot of dust but they burned well. I'd buy them again. Never seen heartland.

I concur. These Premiums by AWF burn very hot. Hotter than Stove Chow by a mile and hotter than FSUs. I do agree also that they are a bit dusty, but not many fines and average ash.(less ash than Chow, for sure, and the ash doesn't turn into solid stalagtites like the ash in Chow does. Totally unimpressed with Chow this year; not so hot, lousy ash, and dirtied up the glass in not time. I burned a ton of FSUs and the glass just had a couple tiny areas of tan dust which I could brush off with a paint brush, not of that black baked on crap you sometimes get(and which I did get a lot of with Stove Chow)

Oh, and yes, it was Hearthsides they had as well, which I passed on.
