I am currently looking at a new Vista Flame VF 55. I know it is the cheaper version of the enviro 55. Anybody own one of these or know someone who does? I'm looking for some feedback on the stove. Quality, reliability, issues, trouble...ect. Thanks for the input.

I have the Freestanding M-55Cast.
Guts are basically the same.

Love mine. No problems.

Keep it clean and you will be rewarded

Only downside to mine is that I wish the hopper was larger.
Only holds little over a bag. Wish it was 2-3x that.

Thanks!! I am also looking at the hopper extender. It costs about $120 or so and adds 80 lbs for a total of 160 lbs. want it for the basement so it can run for a couple of days between filling and cleaning. Have a quad classic bay 1200 in living room and love it. Same issue though, hopper holds 80 lbs..... More like 65-70 in reality!
