Maintainance-serviced the firebox(rust & paint),2 new bearings in combustion blower, finally had to remove the original welded in studs that hold firebox plates in,they finally lost enough threads, complete stove and flue cleaning. As far as "upgrades" I made both trim adjustments external.

My stove company is still in bussiness.
Except for where Austroflamm went bankrupt in 1999 and had to be bought out by Rika...... ;)

Shhhh! I heard that before, found no documentation. Was told austroflamm was the stove division of rika metalworks,do not really know. What I do know is my 1992 says,on the label--austroflamm/rika.By the way last order for parts I put in came really fast, thanks.

A few years back I went to the Austroflamm website and in the timeline they had something in there about being acquired around that time... I think. They have changed their website now and they don't have the nice timeline anymore, which means I am relying solely on my memory which can be a very dangerous thing.

Glad we were able to get your parts to you quick. We just moved to a new temporary building as our big location in Kalispell isn't ready yet. The place we just moved to though is a lot bigger than our previous building so we will be stocking a LOT more parts on our shelves than previous years, plus get more people on the phones. That will hopefully speed up our turnaround time so we don't have as many bottlenecks as last year.

....and what do you do to help the pellets?.....silicone, veg. oil, bear grease???
Most try and treat the hopper with a coat of graphite paint , foil tape the seams, coat of car wax to keep the pellets slipping.

I use furniture polish. Bought a can last year and went this fall to recoat the hopper and my wife had used most of it up. Guess that is a good thing though.
