A TSC just opened up last month in our area. They have Isabella pellets on sale for 4.99/bag. They claim to be a softwood pellet. Anyone ever try them? I've never heard of them or even heard them mentioned here.

I had a ton in 2012. Found they do not burn very hot and used them in the shoulder seasons. They grind up jack pine for their sawdust.
 
Thanks for the reply... we don't really have a shoulder season. It seems to jump from Winter to Construction (Summer).
