Anyone have experience installing the chip on this saw? The chip comes with only one lead, which I the connected to the lead the comes from, I assume the points and condenser under the fly wheel to the coil. Is this correct? What about the short lead on the coil, is that the ground wire, and should that be ganged up with the chip lead as well? If it is the correct set up how will my kill switch work? By the way after all this the saw has spark but does not run.
Thank You in advance for the answer.

I've never done this, but I have an old saw I want to try it on, so I bookmarked a how-to. It's not on my iPad, so gimme a minute to see if I can find it again. What you are saying sounds right, though...

I can't seem to find it, but as another piece of advice, I think you cut the wire to the points from the coil and that one lead from the coil goes to the new ignition module.
