my stove model is herthstone heritage 8021 and the 6 inch flu will not allow my 6 inch super vent pipe from lowes to connect it seems the pipe is to small by 1/16th ". should i take a mallet and pound it on there? im out of ideas and frustrated! plz help

Im new to this but I was watching the supervent install video or someting on youtube and it said there's anither adapter if the stock doest fit right.
