Using a Seven inch Chimney on a six inch flue stove. Loss of efficiency?

So I'm looking at the PE Neo 2.5 it has a 6" flue as most modern stoves do. I already have a SuperVent 2100 7" Chimney. Need to replace the tee and need a longer through the wall piece. Cost will be about $450. I could get a new 6" chimney for about $1500. Planning on using double walled 6" stove pipe for the install. So question is will I lose performance with the seven inch chimney. Does any one have a 6" flue stove on a 7" Chimney? My old stove had a 8" flue and worked fine but that was an old Elmira J1200 stove.

It might work fine how tall is it? If you didn't need to replace parts i would say hook it up and see how it does. But i don't think i would spend $450 on a chimney that is not right.

It's five 4' sections plus the tee so 21" total length. Plus the inside stove pipe length. It's an basement install though the wall installation

Thanks. I've been told that 2 inch difference is not allowed around here. but good to hear it works.

FWIW, PE stoves usually draft really well which means chances are good it will do ok on a slightly oversized flue.

I could get away without replacing the tee but the through the wall section needs to be replaced prior to use. The initial setup was through the cinder block wall with no 2X4 framing. I've since finished the basement. I need a 18" chimney piece though the wall I could order it for $90 from home depot. and fire up the stove that way. The stove shop told me it would work but I would likely lose some performance. He couldn't tell me how much though. Good to know that PE stoves draft well so it seems like it would work. I should call the previous home owner and find out how old the chimney is and that might change my mind about trying to get the seven inch to work.
