New England (MA, CT, ME, NH, VT, RI) New Era for HD ?

HD in Keene, NH is charging $4.98 a bag for Green Supremes, as of yesterday, out of the Jaffrey plant so they are charging different prices, at least in Keene.

My only experience is with the Fireside Ultras, good heat but ashy.

Fireside ultras are 80/20 blend

I was at the Manchester, NH HD last Monday or Tuesday and got some FSU for the 4.98 price (plus my 5% off for using the HD credit card). I've found the pellets a bit smaller than what I normally run in the Harman (Currans), but the St. Croix likes the FSU's much better than my regular brand. Haven't tried them in the Harman, but they don't produce any more ash in the St. Croix than the Currans did.

Haven't seen the FS Premiums though and probably wouldn't buy them at the price you show - more expensive than the Currans, which I can get plenty of locally (the HD is >30 miles away).

I bought a ton of AWFs and they were more than the other pellets HD had; Stove Chowes ect. This was in CT.

Next time I'm over in Keene, I'll have to check out what they have. Haven't been to Keene since Pumpkin Fest.

Personally I think Firedside Ultras (FSU) are the same as Green Supremes (GS). IMHO Stove Chow slightly better than FSU and GS. Others here have said differently but FSU, GS, and Stove Chow are good shoulder pellets. Not great but they still burn with higher ash than the other more expensive pellets.

I'll take FSU over GS all day long. My local HD had two different prices for pellets as well. $269 ton for softies/blends, $289 ton for hardwood.
