Bought few bags of Blazers at of all places, HD.. Same price as lower ends stuff.
had no room with 5 tons in the basement but with 9200btu's and no ash[Almost] was so Impressed with them I went back day or so later bought 35 bags and crammed them in next to the Oil burner. [Appropriate place don't ya think?==c Those Golden pellets are Energex 0.5 ash but I think the blazers are even less..] IMG_2377.JPG

I noticed the weil mclain qb burner in the corner. What a fussy burner. I hated working on those things
Good eye Lord..
Last year it started acting up. for us anways cause .it's prob 20 yrs old but we have only owned the house for 4 yrs.
Heating tech fixed 3x and it would only last a week.
Came back out and replaced all the main electrical components.. no charge..
should last forever since 95% of the year it;s just for DHW..
Did run heat for a week last Polar vortex since basement got to 39 degrees and all my water pipes are down there..
prob would have been ok but why chance it plus saved a million gallons of oil with the stove so didn't mind burning 20 gallons or so..

Yeah I see myself having to run the heat a bit to keep the basement warm myself. Oh well. Maybe a second stove for basement in the future

Sure....I go to HD Levittown this morning...and there is one ripped bag of Blazers left......bought it anyway.....and some more Stove Chows (they have 16 tons)

yeah.. last week they came in..
saw the Chows come in few days ago..
3 Open pallets of Chows and plenty of wraped skids in the back...
looks like things are slowing down here..
the chows would not have lasted 1 day last month or October..

This is the first year I noticed my local HD carrying Blazers. Needless to say, I picked up 3 tons of them this Fall for around $239.00 / ton I think? Not bad for a nice DF west coast pellet that seems to have a popular following on these forums. I was curious about the hype, but after burning these blazers in my stove for the last week or so, I'm considering selling one of my kidneys or something to buy a few more tons because these are turning out to be the best pellets I've burned in a decade ;) and to think I found these gems at my local HD 3,000 miles away from the mill!

same here.....
deff best I have burned...
done with most of the HD Mega Ash Stuff.
I usually get my stash from local dealers anyways.
Still can't understand what HD was doing here with with a Top low ash brand like Blazers all the way from the Pacific NorthWest..
[maybe came in by rail which would lower shipping cost?
