Avalon Astoria Bay insert questions

Hello everyone. I am new to the site but i have been doing a lot of reading on here about reviews and peoples experince with pellet stoves.

I just picked up a used avalon insert for a really good price. The control board was damaged when the stove was removed and someone stacked somthing on top of it. Its clearly cracked at the harness plug and im currently having that sorted out by my good friend who is a electronics guy. Im trying to go thru the whole stove while i have it sitting in the garage. Its getting a thorough cleaning top to bottom inside out. My MAIN QUESTION is on the convection blower. It mounts to the bottom of the stove with rubber isolators but where it meets the air duct it seems to be a 4 bolt flange but with nothing to bolt it to on the stove and there is no gasket at all. Is this normal for this? I took a picture to show exactly what im looking at.

Also im a bit curious if im missing somthing on the exhaust outlet. I have the downloaded manual for the stove but it does not show me any details on either of these areas. Anyone have experince with these types of stoves? Your help and guidance would be greatly appreciated. This is the exhaust outlet.

Regarding the convection blower. Yes that is the way it works. If that blower comes out of balance you will be glad it is not attached to the housing. Your exhaust is different from mine. I don't have that latch to the left of the blower. Mine goes from that blower up and over to the chimney out. I don't know if this helps but good luck with your new to you stove. I have used mine for 5-7 tons a year for about 5 years now. My first issues have occurred this year with some gaskets and a fan wearing out. But we really run ours as the main heating source 24x7.

Thank you for the quick response and for clearing that up. Makes sense now that i think about it being rubber mounted on the bottom.

Ahhhh... I will have to find a dealer around here that will have a actual schematic of the parts for the exhaust coupler. The manual dosent pinpoint it or ever mention it. Looks like its a specific piece for this stove of this model year. Its built in sept of 2005.

Well its been running for almost a week and so far so good. The control board got fixed and its been running keeping my 1700sq ft contemporary house with 16' celings at a nice 70 deg. I been testing different pellets but so far so good. Thanks for the help guys.
