Did you give the venting a good cleaning as well? Bad -plugged venting can lead to a loss of vacuum sometimes intermittent shutting down the auger feed and stove dying or a rise in the exhaust temp shutting the stove down.

Yes...ran my brush through the short length of venting... Mine goes right out the back of the stove, up a few degres and then through the outside wall. An easy clean.

I am sure that if I don't some else will, give another good cleaning. Might have forgotten something. Fines box cover on tight? Check the connector for the temp probe. Stove on a surge suppressor or a UPS I hope.

You said deep cleaning, how deep ? Did you remove the inner baffles to the heat exchanger ( both rear and upper baffles that the Accentra has) ? Did you clean the ESP probe ?

Thanks to all.......baffles were removed....ESP probe was cleaned ... and yes, stove is on a surge protected circuit.

Meanwhile, since starting up again this morning - after a few tries - the stove has been humming along as usual. I have no idea what has happened, but will follow and see. In the meantime, I will redo the cleaning.

UPDATE: Never did get around to cleaning the stove a second time . . . that was on the schedule for today. But, stove is running fine. I have no idea what caused the problem, but ignorance is bliss.
