My question to the OP is. Why would anyone from Quebec even bother wasting money on wood pellets and a stove with the rates you get electricity for?http://www.hydroquebec.com/residential/understanding-your-bill/rates/residential-rates/rate-d/
Actually being on Bi-Energy rate I even pay less, I basically pay .04 cents/Kw when temperature is above -12C. Below -12C I'm at 20 cents....
I run a Heat Pump coupled with an LP 97% efficient HVAC. Have a pellet that I mainly run when I know that it will get below -12C...

I know, our Hydro is less than you guys in Ont. , I guess it's a matter of making it for less like we all do..

Bags...when you say Bioburner, is that the guy that owns the Cross Link Conversions kit???? cheers
Yeah, He is on here a lot. One of the staff here. Lives in MN

He has a crosslink in his Harman PC45. He doesn't own crossslink but that guy can be found Googling crosslink. They have a website and stuff. Chad Hummel is a guy also running one in a PC45 (I believe) and has some good videos of it on Youtube. There are other crosslink vids there too.

Pretty sure crosslink offers kits for many pellet stoves and models with that info on their site.

For those of you that don't know, Quebec if the fourth largest producer of hydro electric power in the world! They produce more hydro power than the rest of the provinces in Canada combined. They trail, China, Brazil, and US. If you live in the North East United States you are more than likely receiving some of your electricity from the excess that Quebec produces!

It returned almost the same price but the heat is not the same and it is warmer in the house
