Last year, a power surge hit leaving the stove (5 years old) inoperable. A service tech came and after a while decided to replace the ignitor. After that, the pellet stove ignitor would not shut off even when I turned the pellet feed off. To clean the stove, I waited a while for the stove to cool, then turned off the power. As it was near the end of the heating season, I called the service company and asked them to make a note to come out at the end of the summer to fix it. He did, and after some testing, he replace the power module. The stove shut off after the normal cool down period. A month passed before I needed to use the stove. When I started it up for this new heating season, it shut down after about 15 minutes.
The stove, exhaust, intake, and so on are all clean. This isn't an air intake issue. Everything (augur, fans, etc.) seems to be working well.
