Just used 2 45's instead of the 90

Does the pic make sense for less smoke resistance vs a 90 elbow?

The longer turning radius will definitely help.

when calculating air flow, each 45 less than a 90 but once you have 2, it becomes equal

Do you have a plan for the floor in front of the stove? It looks like you are out of hearth room. I'm assuming you need 18 inches of floor protection in front of it.

Maybe the picture is deceiving. ..

There's 23 inches from the stove to the edge of the hearth.

Great!

I have an old Woodstock Classic installed in the lower level of our home that vents into an 8" x 11" terracotta clay flue using two 90 degree elbows and it draws great. My flue is about 25' or so, but I can't say for sure since I never measured it. I wonder if using two 45s instead of one 90 degree elbow might be overrated? If such a little tweak
can make a noticeable improvement in how the stove burns I would be surprised.

Although two 45*s does equal 90* the Transition is Much Less Abrupt and allows for better/smoother flow. they also add a small % the vertical draft, May be only 1-2% but for people that need all the draft they can get every little bit helps. if you can put two 45*s with a short pipe between them (instead of being connected together) then it will be even better.

Nice stove - You may want to lower the straight piece of pipe coming out of the collar to create a pitch back towards the stove. This is because in the event liquid creosote forms, it can drain itself back into the stove and get burned off.
Do you have any other pics of the new stove, I looked up your model when you were first posting about it, it looks real nice / good price for a cast iron piece.
