got this nice load of beech today for 2016 /17 season
Now just have to buck it and split it
Got it for $350 and supposed to be a half a tri axle

Beech is great firewood.
 
Smells nice while splitting too. Most splits fairly easy, but every now and then you'll run into the twisted ones... I've had a beech round swallow 3 wedges and laugh at me... granted, that was also quite a large one.
 
Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Most of the time Beech is a pleasure to split. It's even more of a pleasure to burn. :)

That's pretty wood, I love beech, wish I had a bunch. Saw a big beech down in the woods while out walking the dogs today. Worth a little research and doorbell ringing. Good job there.
