Waking up my Castle Serenity for the coming season. A little cleaning and she started right up.

Just started up the Harman for the season. My goal was to make it until Oct. and I made it. Now the goal is to make it to Thanksgiving without supplementing with the furnace. Happy burn season everyone!!:)

For me, maybe tonight. I just need to remember to remove the plastic cup of Damp-rid first, I don't know what that would smell like if it started to burn!

With highs in the low 50s, overcast, and windy today and this weekend, there will be a fire in my stove.

Just started it up tonight.... Toasty. Apparently 15C was too chilly for "some" of the household.

Terrible, and if you have neighbors they may call the fire dept as it can create huge amounts of smoke

Fired ours up last night too. It's damp and a raw 49 degrees this evening.

Just started mine up ... gone through about 3/4 of a bag in last few days. Really chilly mornings... its only 40 here right now ..

That's swimming weather up here in NH.

You are right Peterfield: I was in short sleeves today doing yard work. Temp was 45* and heavily overcast with a bit of wind. For a change wasn't sweating my arse off.
