Good Morning. I have been lurking around here for a couple of weeks and this is my first post. I have had a wood stove before, but never a pellet stove so am a complete novice with all things pellet. I will soon be purchasing 2 new pellet stoves. I am strongly considering the Timber Ridge 55-TRSSP01. I will be using 4" DuraVent Pro for venting. The stove manual says it requires a 3' minimum vertical run.
Due to conditions inside the house need to have a 5' vertical rise and a 2' foot horizontal. I will be coming off the back of the stove with a tee, a 5' vertical, 90 towards the wall and pass through the wall using a thimble and a 2' horizontal run. Can I then use a horizontal cap and be done with it or does the 3' vertical run NEED to be outside the house for drafting purposes?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Dave

That is the way mine is set up. Just bought the stove last month .Great stove , simple to run ,and more heat than I expected. You will like this stove.
