i have a pellet stove vacuum, but my shop vac works much better so I tend to just give the stove plenty of time to cool down and us that. Anyone have any experience with the Deluxe Dust Deputy, or something similar? Seems like it might be nice for cleaning the stove.

I wouldn't vacuum hot ash with any vacuum. The Powersmith works good for me for a reasonable price. YMMV.

This has nothing to fo with vacuuming a hot stove, as I said I give it time to completely cool anyway. Just thought maybe this would work well to collect the dust and ash while saving bags and keeping dust out of the house.
