Hello everyone. Just picked up a parlour 3000 on Craigslist. Had some issues.. Replaced brushes in motor , Cleaned it up, but my problem is with the T1 that was originally broken when i bought the stove so purchaced a T1 from Thelin came w brass compression fitting. Unfortunatly I cant seem to figure out how to install. The parts that came with the stove were in a bag along with broken T1 and other brass fittings. Going online to see examples of its assembly did not work out.. The brass compression fitting WILL NOT come off this new T1 i got. It will spin on the shaft but wont come off or go further in. None of my existing parts allow me to reassemble. I am missing something and I dont know what.

Hello
That is a strange looking T1 sensor you got there!
Here is the one I use.
It should do the trick. :)

Return to Thelin and ask them to try again? Where did you get the part from? From what I understand, Thelin refers you to a dealer...

hey LG thanks for the reply.. and for being the welcoming committee ... ;)
ya know i did purchase direct from Thelin @ Laxhalt Dr in NV ...
i plan on calling them tomorrow and hopefully figure it out .. any ideas ???

Get an email address and send them a copy of the pics you sent us. Looks like they didn't send a complete assembly in the first place.

It looks like you have the correct T1 part, but the wrong brass nut-fitting was installed on it. You might have the correct fitting from the old parts, if not, you can buy that from Home Depot, along with a fresh compression ferrule. You need to pull the brass compression ferrule off the tube, pull off the wrong brass nut-fitting, and install the correct one so it looks like the picture of the new T1 (in the plastic bag).
