So a while back, I submitted this thread with my hearth WIP:

https://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/forums/viewthread/27593/

Well, here it is basically complete. Still need to finish the side of the stone and tie up some cables in my basement, but we decorated over the weekend for Christmas and it looked nice so I took some pictures. Some with and some without flash...

thats a fine looking set up. Nice brick work.

That looks fantastic, but you should really be watching "Smokey and the Bandit".

Very nice! Stove looks great with the stonework!
Enjoy

That looks great. Beautiful job.

How do you power the flatscreen with smoke? :)

The hearth looks nice, great job on the stone!

That seems like an odd place for a TV, though. I think I would strain my neck watching it up there.

Do you have access behind the hearth from outside for cabling upgrades, etc.?

Thats absolutely beautiful
Nice work

you could get one of those DVDs of a nice fire burning...then you could watch the stove and fire at the same time!

Hey Everyone, thanks for all the replies and comments... We are super happy with the outcome and are diggin' our pellet stove...

Actually, I think the pictures make the TV look a a bit higher than it actually is... However, I was concerned about it being there too, and to be honest, I love it there now... Even sitting on the couch it's a decent spot, but laying on the couch it's perfect, it's also cool cause I can watch it from the kitchen too...

Don't have access persay to behind the hearth, however I have a 1 1/2" PVC pipe that runs from behind the TV to my basement, so I can pull cables and stuff... There's my 2 HDMI cables and my coax cable for the TV run, in fact, gotta pull a different HDMI cable through cause the one I got doesn't work with m DVD player, go figure...
