Well after all, the main topic is ill-placed pellet pallets, not my self-disclosure re: mastery of awkward elimination techniques.
I say you and your wife move the pellets together... that way you can exchange back rubs later. Team effort!

spoken like a true woman

And that's a GOOD thing, right?

Second post asking the same question, I'll give you some positive re-inforcement, here, lass442, if you feel you need it. Yes, that's a GOOOOOOOOD thing.

yeah, sorry about that double posting. I tried to delete the first one, but couldn't. LOL It wasn't self-disclosure of any insecurity, by any means... I can assure you!

I started out attempting to vent (no pun intended, seriously) a little and try to find a little sympathy from my stove-owning friends concerning my plight. I now realize that I have started a full-blown family feud and potential battle of the sexes. For this I apologize. I'll go move the pellets. **slinks away**

LOL... naw, no freud, no battle... it's all in fun. Vent away, my dear friend, I'll play my violin for you if you don't mind my snickering! ;-)

What maineteech doesn't understand is that was his wife's attempt at telling him to spend more time with her instead of his snow machine without nagging.

C'mon, teech, you took a stand, never apologize. Your position is plainly stated, don't try to excuse or justify, MAN UP

You're right, hoss...I will take a stand. What was I thinking? Compromise my principles? NEVER

Yeah, and be sure to let us know how that works out for ya, with pics. (If she takes any). If there ain't no pics, it never happened.

Two thirds of the work done? Not a bad deal actually, you only have to move them once, she moved them two times! Of course she could halved put them inside as well instead of dumping them if front of the garage door. Hart in the right place, brain was not. :zip:

Hoss....Good call

But I do feel this was a well planned attack to begin with. Yes "The Wife" used initiative in planning her assault upon the pellets...and remember this was not one ton but two tons. Points made there. She did know it was snow season and the "Snow Machine" had to be brought out to prevent fuel line and battery charging issues. *****Men stand behind me now*****.

But the bottom line was she did BLOCK in the machine to keep you in the house.

I will rest my case right now since I have to make my way to the fridge. My right hand is feeling warm.

Peace out.....

Eric

Lucky YOU, teech, she WANTS you in the house! You must be a keeper!

Well, lass...I like to think of myself as a keeper. Of course, it's nice to see that others think of me that way. But don't try to butter me up, sister. I'm not laying a finger on those pellets. I've found a way to keep my principles and still appreciate the gesture my wife made. It involves a 15 year old boy who is trying to fly under the radar, thinking he's dodged a great big bullet. We'll just call it "collateral damage."

She hauled them and stacked them for you. For this you should be thankful.

The fact that she processed no logic in determining their placement is just "one of those things" that will remain a mystery.

I could tell you stories....

God love her, she was trying her best. Because she knows you work hard all day she was trying to help.

Good idea. Even moving them yourself you're doing less work then if you had gone and picked them up yourself so get over it...sheesh...I expect you also got a nice payback for the backrub so I'm in the "no sympathy" zone here. With all the time & effort involved in the posting, you'd have been done already if you had just sucked it up.

It crossed my mind that it was done on purpose....but I just bought her a new helmet so she could go snowmobiling with me every now and then. That sounds like a fun time, doesn't it? Riding around in the cold, bouncing up and down on trails, peeing in the woods in 2 feet of snow? Women like to do that sort of thing, right? The only thing that would be more enjoyable on a cold winter morning would be sitting on a frozen lake fishing for trout and salmon.

'Bought her a new helmet', that's classic, bro! It's like buying her dishes and a brand new vacuum. Face it, she put up that roadblock for a reason. But maybe she thinks she's looking out for you because she feels you are a little careless on the trails, or, I know this may be tough and difficult to understand, she may actually want you around the homestead a little more often. So, a test is in order. Put the teenager to work, and while he's busy becoming a man and getting all pumped from moving several tons of pellets, you can take your wife inside for some alone time and get a feel for why she she put those pellets where she did. Hopefully you get lucky, if not, see if you can find the keys to your snowmobile, they may be missing.

I got my bets on this deal, right here. And my bets are that teech's wife had the best of intentions, teech gets the 15 year old to move those pellet pallets, and teech gets his wife to show him why he's a keeper!
Whoa! HO! HOOO! Who's the King of his castle NOW! I'm a woman, and I'm feeling pretty proud of him!!! Yeah.... he's a keeper fer sure, and she knows it.
