i purches a skytech 5301 wireless thermostat wich is a milivolt thermostat i hook it to my lennox montage wich is a 24vac thermostat. the skytech 5301 will start the pellet stove but it won’t shut it down, do i have to connect this thermostat difrently or this thermostat don’t work for these stove i know this is a very stupid question but i am desperate .. please helpppppppppppp.

Is your Stove set to ON/OFF, or HIGH/LOW mode? In HI/LOW the stove doesn’t shutoff, just gets bumped down to the low setting when the desired temperature is reached.
 
Best bet is to read your stove installation/operation manual
section for using with a thermostat if you have a manual that is.
 
I have a Lennox Montage bought in November 2008. Nowhere in the manual does it say anything about an option to set it for Hi-Lo operation rather than the On-Off option that it presently uses. Since the On-Off operation is flawed, (once it starts shutdown it will not restart if the thermostat calls for heat before the shutdown operation finishes), I would love to know how to set the stove for Hi-Lo operation?

I bought one to use with my harman p38 and it doesnt work with it either.
