If you like stoves with huge frontal glass (I love mine), there's a new Scan 61 up on eBay:

Due to their tall geometry these are not good 24/7 stoves but used appropriately they're excellent stoves, are really well built, and are the closest thing to a fireplace that you'll find. If I lived closer I'd grab it.

What do you mean, by "Due to their tall geometry these are not good 24/7 stoves" ?

I got an e-mail from another forum last night boasting the very cheap shipping rates at www.gorlc.com but I know nothing about them.
If somebody on here REALLY has to have it, I'm only about twenty miles away and could possibly help out. -Ken

The smaller floor area means coals build up quickly. And these tall-geometry stoves don't work well with large loads of wood.

Somebody got a great deal on that 61, was it someone in the group? I hope so.

Mine seams to work well,, if you open the air up full closer to the end it will burn the coals right down to ash quick.. Been on 24-7 full out 3 days and barely any ash or coals in mine..
