As my first year as a pellet stove owner is winding down, just wanted to say thank you to all on this forum. Even though my dealer did give an overview of the stove operation etc. when it was installed, I learned much much more from this forum. Just wanted fellow forum members to know how much the help and information is appreciated.

I second that notion !!! Hearth.com is awesome. Thanks to all posters. Thanks to the moderators for keeping things constructive. Thanks to the dealers and factory reps who've added to the "salad". And of course, thanks to the community at large for their thirst for knowledge (giving some of us busy bodies a place to spread the wealth, so to speak).

These forums are nothing more, really, than what the members (like you) make them. Jeez, I just sounded like PBS. %-P Rick

Agreed! I have seen lots of members get free help for their pellet stove issues on this forum. I have also seen a lot of great tips about cleaning stoves, disposing empty bags, etc... This is one awesome forum!!!

Yes it is! I am a fairly new comer but have burned pellets for years now! Wish I found this place long ago!!!

Thanks to all who give to help the others hear and There Tips and Tricks. And Thanks to the jokesters too (You make this place fun)!

May we all have a SAFE and FUN summer!

Happy Pellet Hunting.
Jay

Just because it is summer does not mean you have to stop burning pellets
Go out get a pellet BBQ
or get a Pellet Basket and burn pellets in a firepit

Or some of you that are Experts now can make some extra cash and go do annual service on your friends and neighbors pellet stoves.

I know now that I closed down my store I have to go out and service a min of 10 stoves a week to put food on our table so I will be in the thick of it all summer long.

Me too.

What great current and past hearth.com discussions for problem solving!

Nice to not have dealers and manufacturers be the only source of knowledge.

As a first time pellet stove user this season, I'll add my thanks as well!!

This forum was amazing.

I'm burning my last bag right now and I'm gonna miss having the stove going. It's still chilly here with a few weeks left in the season, but with the prices the way they are now we'll switch to electric for the next little bit.

Thanks all!

This was also my first year burning and I learned much more from this forum than I can imagine. I still have @ 40 bags left from 5 tons and hope to order next seasons pellets by the end of May. You guys/gals have been a real pool of knowledge from everything from maintenance to pellet quality. I hope to have many more years of exchanging knowledge about the benefits of burning pellets.

Thanks Again.

I'll add my $.02 and SINCERE THANKS! I'm a first time pellet stove owner. There is no way that I could have learned all of the stuff that I have gleaned from this forum in years of operating my stove. This is one termendous resource.

Rod, I hope theres 500 dirty stoves in your area !!!! Good Luck....

I sure I can get 500 out of the 2000 in my database that we have serviced in the past 19 years

yup....kudos to Mr. Issod and ALL the members here....I too have learned so much here and even though I am ending my 2nd season....you can never know to much....theres always something to learn and this is the spot to do just that and maybe give some advice to a newbie too :)

Hope everyone has a safe and happy Spring and Summer....

A big THANK YOU to Hearth.com as well. I'm waiting to install my Big-E this spring when I run out of wood. I'm getting a lot of information from this site. I also had to help my Mom with her Harman P68 when my Dad passed away. I got "up to speed" in a hurry thanks to this site. I know I'll learn more when I get my Big-E installed. Keep up the good work.

Tom

Just want to add my thanks to all the forum members and mods that helped me out last summer when I was a total Noobie. It's been a fun time since then learning about different stoves, helping other members, and getting to know some of the members....a lot of nice people here.

Thanks everybody!!! :cheese:

great thread! , im happy to add my voice in thanking craig and his team for a great forum. noting as well that now that the burning season is done for the most part , the time has come to start thinking about next season. annual maintenance should be performed or scheduled with service people. get the flue cleaned as well. that way you wont be out doing so when the first snow flies. start checking with fuel suppliers to get an early idea on when they intend to bring in fuel so you will be ready to pounce when it hits the door (not to mention looking for "early buy" deals on the fuel for next season)

I would also like to thank everone, with help. wish I would have found this forum Two years ago . Thanks again and have a safe and fun summer.

While my heating season won't be over for a while I'd like to jump in and say thank you Hearth.com for the forum and to all the contributors that I have learned so much from!

I too, thank everyone. This was my first year with my Lopi Leyden and I felt so much more comfortable knowing I could come to this site and either search for a topic or post one. There was some pretty good laughs in there as well. Have to watch those embers with your bushes.

June's a long time after the end of the season but I just ran across this thread and want to add my thanks. The people in the industry in this forum have been generous and patient with their knowledge and comments. The professionals and experienced individual homeowners have really helped newcomers like me to use our stoves more safely, to enjoy them and to save some money as well.
