Well I just bought 10 pallets from Lowes. They had them at 3.98 a bag and if you bought 5 pallets they gave you 200.00 off so they rang up two tickets so I would get the discount twice. So I paid 159.00 a pallet.

Can you post a copy of one of the receipts so we can all use it for a price match at out local Lowes or Home Depot?

Thanks

Yes I live in MO I actually just got back to my office from loading 6 of the pallets. I bought one more pallet to even the laod on the trailer. I am not using all of these myself. Three of us went together and bought them to get the big discount that they was offering that ends today.

What brand pellets are they?

Interesting what the difference of a thousand miles makes.....I was at Lowes tonight, and they had pellet's advertised at $4.98....25% higher. Screwed again in the NE

Anyway, I bought 2 bags of Michigan Woods to test burn.

There is no way I would pay that much for pellets I would use my NG furnace.
Well, it also didn't include the bulk discount their offering. A 5 ton purchase would have the price down to $209/ton, but that's still a long way from your $159.

probably caused by the added cost to ship the pellets to the coast to send to Europe, the one factor all of us on the atlantic coast have to compete with.

That is an awesome price. Cheapest I've seen around here is $255 a ton. (upstate NY)
