What thermostat are you using for a Parlour 3000 thelin pellet stove. I hear 24 volt will not work, must be a special one for this stove as it is a 12 volt.

I use a Skytech 3301P and have no problem with it. I have been using it since the stove was installed and I am very happy with it.

Rick, just remember that the Skytech is a remote thermostat....they run about $100 US. From what I can see in the manual, any regular or programmable stat will work on the Thelin. You can get a decent programmable for $20-50....just remember to remove the copper jumper wire.

I talked too Jay Thelin about it, and i said will a 24 volt thermostat work and he said No..but we where talking about other issues and didnt get back to the details of what thermostat too use.
I am just looking for a wired one , the remote one are a bit costly but easy too hook up and put anywhere.

I used a Rite Temp from Home Depot on my Thelin Parlor and it worked very well. Easy to set up, inexpensive, and functioned as I expected it to.

I have an extra Digital thermostat by ritetemp.. Model 8022C. It does say 24VAC and MV.. But you have a choice of selecting Electric or Gas. what would you select if this would work.Or does ritetemp have one for a pellet stove.I have never used this, so maybe i have one and didnt know it.

Rick, as we've mentioned above, you need a millivolt stat, not a 24v one, so it has to be configured for that. As for the electric or gas setting, my guess would be gas, but you might want to call the company and ask.

There is no stat made just for a pellet stove, AFAIK.

If you read my last post it says 24 volt and MV whiich i believe means, Millivolt.. But i want too make sure,.. don't want to ruin the PC board.
