Hi, I've recently emigrated from the UK to Canada and am bringing with me my Morso Squirrel 1412, which was purchased in the UK (it's currently on a ship in the Atlantic somewhere).
Anyways, I hope to have the stove installed in my house here, but apparently insurance requirements are such that, besides being properly installed, it needs to have a certification, either Warnock Hersey or ULC. I believe these are safety rather than emissions certifications like EPA.
There's a plate at the back of the stove that shows the certification. Obviously I can't see the plate right now but I doubt it would have these as they're probably North American certifications that wouldn't be affixed to a stove made in the EU.
Anybody have an idea what the equivalent of a Morso Squirrel 1412 is over here, and if it's certified?
Thanks.
