How often do you hear a cluncking noise from the feeder breaking pellets. I don't remeber ever hearing it happen at the dealership, and I have been back since to listen for it. I am running the same pellet as them so I don't see how it could be them.
Have you received your rebate from them if you bought it in the summer.

Thanks
Matt

I hear the loud clunk of a breaking pellet maybe 2 or 3 times an hour. I burn barefoot, lignetics and Omalley.

The first couple of years that I owned my Harman, I would hear it all the time. Now it never makes that noise - I would have to guess that it is pellet brand related.

Check your feed adjuster, depending on which model you have it should be on 3 or 4. Lousy is right the longer the pellet you get more crunches.

I hear it about 4 -6 times per hour on each of my Harmans. I'm using Kentucky Kernal pellets and they are extremely long. It will be interesting when I run out of these and switch back over to Somerset's.

I actually have had the opposite problem we bought the house 6 months ago and the stove was here then running with no noise. i decided to do a really good climb in the back cleaning and found the feeder compartment was right packed with fines so cleaned it out and now i have the sound you are describing... up here in canada and i run lg pellets...lol

I probably hear it twice an hour or less. Burning Lignetics right now. Obviously nothing to worry about.

I hear the crunching occasionally but I just turn down the crunch volume button.
