Tis a welcome sight indeed after a fun day in the snow. I can remember coming home from ice skating or sledding and wanting nothing more than a hot bath. Mittens, pants and socks got draped on the radiators. We didn't have a stove, so a hot bath had to substitute.
Looks great. It's a beautiful stove. Great month to burn wood on Long Island. How'd you do on Monday with the super cold?
layout of the house is not ideal for burning, a ranch seperated by a narrow hallway, but all in all national grid is not happy with me. haha

I still think back to my younger days when I had 2 brothers and a sister. After playing in the snow we'd have boots, socks, gloves and jackets spread all over. One of the best spots was in the wood cook stove oven and also in the warming oven. Yes, it is nice to have a good place to dry things but still can't compare with the simple pleasure of getting you body warm by a wood heating stove! Fantastic...
Right. Jovial Stove. That's what I meant. Seems like a good guy. He gave me some good advice when I needed it. Cozy stove was by me in Rocky Point but closed down about a year and a half ago.
