I was checking the loft above the sauna to check the pipe and debris situation up there.
Last week the chimney sweeper didnt even look up there but he gave the interior pipe the all good.
So I fired up the sauna to about 80 degrees a couple of times already without any problems.
Today after checking the loft in detail there were loads of really dry leaves and wood lying right up
against the red pipe and looks kind of dangerous as those pipes probably get extremely hot.
The roof is badly damaged and when it rains or snows it gets right inside the building and maybe
thats why it was too damp to ignite.

This place needs alot of work but this sauna building is the most worrying.

Would you heat up this sauna, or what would you do first?

No it should not be used that is extremely dangerous

Saatana perkele! That is the only Finnish my mom taught me, and not on purpose. I don't get to use it much, but it is perhaps fitting here.

Looks pretty scary. What do you have coming out of the roof on the outside? Is it just a length of clay liner (the red pipe you mention)?
