Just did my taxes, I am getting 986.00 dollars back from the tax credit . I wanted to take a moment and that Uncle Sam!!!lol.
How much did you get back?

Haven't done the taxes yet but should be something fairly healthy. I get the full tax credit, spent close to $7k on doors, stove, insulation, etc.

I got more then 986.00, that is just the savings from the stove.

Nothing. Replaced my stoves and lined the chimneys in 2006. >:-(

Your welcome. :cheese:

I sold a house, bought a house, and refinanced the house. I paid $3k for an EPA stove. I paid $4k in deductible tuition fees. My wife paid another $800 in tuition fees.

We donated ~$7k to the church or non-profits.

I better be freaking swimming in refund goodness.

Even though my stove isnt eligable, are the installation components eligable. Like the pipe and chimney?

i get nothing have to pay out more taxes i guess i get punished for making "too much"

I get the tax credit and am thrilled.

Thanks, Uncle Sam, for FINALLY starting to head the country in a direction where people can have renewable energy and newer, cleaner stoves!
It sure beats giving those credits to the oil companies.......and, frankly, to turn grain to ethanol...at poor efficiencies.

Hopefully, we can continue to have some semi-enlightened policies DOMESTICALLY in order to continue down the path of Energy Savings.

Any of you who want to donate your credit to this hard working American (me).......I'll give you my paypal acct and you can move the money there so you feel better.

You should have traded in that BB........

Heck, I didn't get a cent when GW was handing out those stim checks in the early 2000's (1200?)....not a penny.
But I don't complain. Others need it, frankly, more than I do. Still, I'd rather it go toward renewables, etc.
