Just wondering. I'm burning Okies right now and am thinking the stove will just idle on low all the time with them. Stove is a Vistaflame VF100. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Generally a shoulder pellet is one you can score cheap. What are the cheaper brands near you?

I bought some pretty pricey pellets that turned out to be shoulder season, But thats because I didn't do my home work first! And while doing my homework I have found a few exceptional brands that surprised me. Of course your stove has a say in this too! :)

What he said!

I guess my hunting instincts were correct. I've been looking for cheaper ones, but not that hard. Don't have much room either, so maybe I'll just grab test bags here and there and check 'em out.

Thanks!

I'm trying to figure out which one I'll use in a few months... NEWPs? Green Team? Green Supreme? Stove Chow (if I can find them)?

One of those isn't a shoulder pellet. ;-)
