I have a new jotul Oslo. I have finished my 3 break in fires. I was wondering if I can burn my Eagles hat in it this evening when I fire it up. My hat is green and made of cloth material. My team is soft, frequently misses field goals, fumbles, and has a horrible defense.
I have read that I shouldn't burn colored paper. Can I burn my green Eagles hat?

As a former resident of Dallas I say feel free to burn it. Or send it to me and I will do it for you.

BTW: The colored paper things is just for cat stoves.

You could also add green jerseys, shorts or any other eagle related item.....I will be doing the same with some patriot gear should they lose to the raiders

Freakin' LOL. I thought for sure it was going to be another, "Can I burn super duper chemical saturated, stained, pressure treated, blah blah blah?" in my stove thread!

All that and my O.S.U. apparel, talk about weak. What realy sucks is Mich.St was pittiful also.

I can hardly believe the Detroit Loins!!!! They haven't had this many wins for many, many moons. They usually lose and lose and lose. However, I'm still not a believer nor have I watched them and have no plans on doing so. Too many times they let you down.

Let's not get premature, Remkel.

Looks like the gear is safe for another week...

I burn one at least twice each season.

Did I mention... go Giants?

I'll send you two Red Sox hats. Maybe you can get the secondaries to light with them.

I don't know. I'd be concerned that it would have a hard time catching fire... much like the team. Also, I would suspect you would fumble the hat several times while attempting to get the hat in the stove.

On a happier note, the Phills take the field in 44 minutes.

I'll send you some Dallas gear I am about done even watching their games.....

Go Packers, Badgers, and Brewers what a weekend in Wisconsin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Sox hats are like poplar. Hot fast start then fade fast. Although this year they didn't even get a fast start.

Only if Michael Vick is in it at the time it enters the stove.

Otherwise you will have a creosote issue.
