Just got back from our local HD in Mohegan Lake (Westchester County, NY) where I went for supplies for an unrelated project. They have 50 pallets of pellets (why do I always feel like Danny Kaye when I say that and want to say the Chalice with the Palace has the Pellet with the Poison but the Flagon with the Dragon has the brew that is true?).

They are mostly American Wood Fiber, which I have been happily burning for the past few days, having brought a few bags home earlier in the week. They also have a few pallets of Stove Chow, which even with my extremely limited experience, now seem inferior.

Price is still $197/ton or $3.94/bag + delivery ($65) if desired.

I have to say that they are stored outside and the American Wood Fiber pellets are only wrapped once with a single encapsulation over the bags. At least the bags are not perforated. The rain/snow had not started when I loaded up my little Malibu hatchback so, I brought home 15 bags to augment my supply.

Just sayin, for those in the area.

Allentown store on Lehigh st has press-to-logs for 3.49 a bag and 197.00 a ton they have plenty, saw a lot of people loading bags in there cars. no one taking it by the ton when i was there
