Now where is your sense of adventure? Ill take that a few weeks of the year and take the rest of the year to have a lake to fish all to myself. Drive to work on the highway to myself and no line up to buy groceries. :coolsmile:

Ha! Right on there neighbor..

Coldest recorded here back in January of 1990 was -54. I certainly was here then, but did not have the wood stove. So far this winter its been -23, which is paltry. We'll go to -35 or better sometime in January or February, we always do.

I sure got a snicker out of this thread.
 
Starting to get back to normal here, 7* right now. Couple weeks ago it was -20*

Now its warmer than normal highs in the 30's and staying above freezing at night, had 20 below wind chills last week.
 
Well, I started this post so here's our current weather report for today: 50's and rain.

Back to shoulder season????? :)
