Cutting some fast drying stuff in case the oak is too wet next year. This is some tulip poplar I cut recently. Will be going for some more plus cherry and red maple to go with it. I swear you can almost split this stuff by looking at it awhile

That will certainly be dry for next winter, good wood to help the oak get going.

I love the poplar for fall and spring "just take the chill off" burning.
