3 foot chimney rods - anyone use? links to purchase?

Well, I picked up some 4 ft chimney rods and a brush for bottom up cleaning. Problem is, the insert is so close to the floor, I couldn't make the turn up the liner as it would require a 90 degree bend in the flex rod.
I have about 27 feet up, and its a pretty straight shot to the top.
Had the sweep come out last fall, and he looked to have 3' sections....attached a drill to it, and 20 minutes later he was done.
Most of what I find online is 4 ft brushes, so anyone here use 3' ones, and how have they worked out for you? links?
Was thinking when I do clean it, I am going to try to use a drill with the spin method, and maybe post pics/directions back here for the step by step...i.e. taking the burn tubes out, fire bricks, then cleaning.
