Hottest day of the year here in Asheville. It hit 98F.

No matter. I changed jobs a month ago and now have ample time to get the projects that have been on the list for some time.

Felt good... my childhood friend is a carpenter. A good one.

Now I have a mac daddy woodshed. Easy access, truck in and out easy.

Oh, a few things to do, but to my eyes, we just increased our property value. ;)

As soon as I can figure out the new Apple storage system, photos. They are killing the storage for photos for a couple years this weekend.

    O.k... finally, a couple shots!

It was nearly 100F, but we finished up this morning. I opted for Ondura roofing over tin as I used it on my carport and it has been stalwart and weather proof in a many conditions here in Western North Carolina.

Two pallets are down, one more to go, then fencing behind it to keep it tidy. Waiting for time off and temperature to abate before painting.

I like that shed, nice and simple, I was looking at that ondura roofing at Lowes the other day, may be something I consider when/if I ever build a shed.

nice looking woodshed there. That is something that is in my stagnating plans, someday. Just too much on the plate right now.

Just be careful with the Ondura not to mis-nail or otherwise puncture it. Post that, it sheds water and debris with no problem. Nailed down, it should carry a good snow load too. I have plenty of work to do... Enough kindling to break up and wet and unburnable to haul away to take a good day or two in this heat.

I look forward to some finishing touches on Wednesday. And to filling it up with good hardwood for the winter! Hard to think of it now at 79F at 10pm EST, but winter will come.

    Someday.
