Hi there, I have noticed a lot of new guys on today. I know there's room for one more. I installed a VistaFlame 100 Insert on Sunday. Just got it inspected and running for the first time. I know they are "space heaters" but it should take down my oil bill. I live in a 900sf ranch and it should do the trick. I have done a good amount of forum browsing and its been a big help. I hope you don't have to hear about any problems any time soon. Keep the great information coming.

This is a shot of the first run:

Thanks for the pic, and welcome to the forum.

Now, I must ask......HOW do you keep your stove stuck on the top of your fireplace upside down, and still burning with the flame coming down????? I bet NASA or someone like that would like to know your secret. ;lol

    Anti gravity pellets??

welcome fellow vf100 owner :) you're gonna love it and if you're living in a 900 sf ranch you're going to need not much to supplement it . this is my first year , but so far i've only burnt @ $100 worth of oil to heat my 2000 sf split level .

The nice comforting warmth, the great savings and the flickering flame not to mention the smell of distinct pellet dust fines, will be a memory you will keep close to your heart for many years to come.

    Welcome aboard.

Me too, bbfarm! Welcome, JonSkow! You're gonna love that pellet stove in 900 sq ft. Yes, they are space heaters- and we're heating 1420 sq ft with our Napoleon NPS40 free standing stove. :)
