    Facebook puts a number in parentheses on the tab at the top of the page when you have an alert/message. That way- if you're in another tab, you see it automagically. Is that a feature that you've considered or have an option to implement? It's a little thing, but me likee

    If it's on the tab in the browser, that means it dynamically must add it to the page title - because that is what the tab is!

    I will check around. I know there are some add-ons dealing with alerts, but not sure what they do

    Hmm, tried one and it didn't work.
    Tried another and it seems to work somewhat, but the red number clashes with our Favicon.....

    Let me know what results you have!

    Why is it that I keep getting an alert when anyone creates a new thread? I would like an alert only on threads that I'm following.

    I could swear that when I have an alert and I'm in another tab, a red number pops up on the "Fire" (Hearth.com) tab..

    Yeah, Adios asked for that little "tab in the background" feature - it's cool.
