Alexa, Fireplace On

I played around with making my fireplace “smart” to work with Google Home & Alexa.

I used an extra smart plug and a $25 relay switch from Amazon. It was surprisingly easy to install.

Currently have both the fan and relay plugged in to the switch. So far it works very well.

Was wondering if anybody else had a “smart fireplace” setup.

Hey, I also connected my fireplace to alexa, my fireplace has built-in wifi module so i didn't have any problems, just configuration to my smarthome than to alexa.
