Hi all!

I was wondering how everyone installed their OAK? Does it have to be double piped too, in case of burn back? What about through the wall? A smaller thimble? On my stove the cold air intake is 3" so it is quite large undertaking to run the second pipes! The stove is in the basement so the vent is 4"!

My summersheat came with a kit that consisted of a small 3" thimble and mounting plates with screen for outside, clamps and 3" metal flex pipe. Took about 45 minutes to install through the wall with the proper hole saw. I think the flex pipe would expand to 6 or 8'.

Burnback?, so I never use a OAK and cant, Intake pipe SUCKS In cold/room air, so all of us without OAK would have fires blowing behind our stoves.
