This is right around the block from my house. Made 2 runs with my Pathfinder, did not even put a dent in it. Pile is about 3 rows deep, and some huge rounds off to the right of picture. My guess is about 4 cords, but I'm just a rookie.
Damn iPhone, can't seem to flip pic, sorry.

I'll throw my guesstimate in as well......I'm saying around 3 to 3 1/2 cord, once split and stacked.......

In other words, GET ON IT!

WOW - tough scrounge!! You actually have to pull up and load it - From the BLACK TOP!! I would ask why they didn't split it for you and while your at it, just ask them to stack it too!

    Congrats on a great score.

Tough to see how much is there. What kind of wood is that? Nice score rkofler! I say 2.75 cord.

Nice work! Maybe nearly 4 cord and maybe a touch more. Do I see silver maple?

Has it all been promised to you? Any time limit how fast they want it gone?
4 cords sounds like a good guess to me.

Definitely not oak, not sure what it is. maple probably a good guess. I've actually been passing on oak lately, have over a cord split already from Sandy. Need some quicker drying wood for next winter. My buddy actually told me about this wood. He only burns occasionally in an open fireplace. Good to have friends that know you are wood crazy! Made 4 trips today, will probably go back again tomorrow. Barely put a dent in it.
