Noticed Lowe's has the general tools on sale for 19.99(33%) off. I think I'll have to cash in and upgrade from the harbor freight I have strictly because this one takes a 9v.

I walked in and just asked an associate. I was on limited time during my lunch hour and didn't have time (to keep looking). The Lowes I visited had it in a general tools section on some rack display... nice meter!

They didnt have that one at my lowes, but they sold me a probless one for the same price. I really like it. Just touch it on the wood. It measures 3/4 inch deep. Normally 40 bucks.

I got that same one at Lowes last Fall and it was in the section with drills and drill bits.

Now if I could only find where I put it after I used it last.
