I did a search for New Jersey Sweeps. Nada. Anyone recommend a quality chimney sweep in the Central New Jersey area?

Best,

Bob

OK - we contacted 3 chimney sweeps that were certified by one group or another. Got 3 prices and talked to 3 people.

We went with Hot Box Hearth & Home http://www.hotboxstoves.com and they were great. I was concerned about a sweep not knowing the possible pitfalls that a wood burning insert with a liner might bring but Reece also installs for Vermont Castings - our Regency posed no problems for him.

He also pointed out aspects of our stove to us (a sort of stove lesson which was very cool).

The job went very well. Wholeheartedly would recommend them for anyone in the Central New Jersey / Princeton Area.
