Hello Folks,
Need some help. Recently bought a house and burned wet wood our first year of ownership of this stove. Not sure of my options, getting quote on 10k+ to re pipe in Central Jersey. Not in budget. Was hoping to get this cleaned either through chimney sweep or acid cleaner but struggling to find anyone who specialised in acid cleaning. Is this something I can clean & treat myself ?

Not sure how hard that stuff is but I would try to sweep from the bottom up and attach a garbage bag to the support box. You may need to start with a smaller brush and work your way to a 6” brush?

Paging @bholler! Cleanup in aisle #2.

If it were me, I'd probably just yank that liner out and drop a new one in, DIY. Nothing is forever, says the guy living in a 300 year old house. ;lol

Just clean it with a rotary cleaner that doesn't look too bad. But something definitely isn't right about the way that is terminated

What you mean the way it is terminated ? I mean we burned some really wet wood lol, previous owner ran the chimney for about 20 years with no issues

Doesn't look like you have 2" clearance to the drywall and there is no trim or support there
