Anyone know of another hearth heater out there that has a bigger firebox than the H2100? Zero clearance, not needing to go too far in to the existing fireplace.

Also any comparison as far as heating capacity with Quadrafire 2700i insert?

Thanks in advance.

The Hearthstone Homestead is a bit larger than either (2.0 cu ft vs the H2100 1.6). If longer burntimes are the goal, in your region, perhaps a cat stove would be better? How much area is being heated?

Actually the Homestead is about 1.5 cu ft real world. 6-8 hour burn times max is what I got with mine.

Thanks for posting. Was out of town for a while. Now back at it. Todd, what do you mean by the Homestead only being 1.5 ft3 "real world"?

The area I am heating is about 1300 sq ft.

What is there now is a Heatilator HB36a. There is a 6" pipe coming down into the firebox ready to be connected to something. I am curious if anyone has exp. with the Lopi Republic 1750 insert. It looks like it might fit and has 2.2 ft.3 firebox space.

Thanks in adv for any more reply's.
